New 2025 has intense black dial harmoniously complemented polished silver-tone hour, minute hands in Mercedes-logo and Breguet-style sword shape with luminous fill, and polished silvered seconds hand. The dial is adorned with applied, polished silver-rimmed hour markers—an elegant mix of dots and indexes—each filled with luminous material to ensure optimal readability in low-light conditions. A finely printed minute and seconds track lines the outer rim, adding precision to the design. The highly legible Chromalight display enhances visibility further with its signature long-lasting blue luminescence, offering a striking contrast against the dial’s surface. Date window at 3 o’clock with cyclops magnifying glass enhances functionality. The RLX titanium patented “Triplock” locking crown ensuring that the crown screws down onto the Oyster case as securely as a submarine hatch. The dial closed by a Domed, 9.5 mm-thick scratch-resistant sapphire and solid RLX titanium case back made. The unidirectional rotatable bezel is equipped with a 60-minute graduated and a luminous dot at the starting triangle on Cerachrom insert in black ceramic, virtually scratchproof and unaffected by ultraviolet rays. The numerals and graduations are coated in platinum via Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD). Powered by the Rolex Calibre 3230, a self-winding mechanical movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex, the watch containing 31 Jewels offers a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. It is certified as a Superlative Chronometer, ensuring precision and reliability. Waterproof to an extraordinary depth of 11,000 meters (36,090 feet), the Deepsea Challenge is equipped with a helium escape valve, allowing gases to safely escape during decompression. The watch is fitted with an Oyster bracelet, composed of three-piece solid links, providing robustness and comfort. The Oysterlock clasp prevents accidental opening, and the Glidelock extension system allows for fine adjustments without the use of tools.
